WE'RE HIRING - GROUP HEAD HR & OD
Location: Karachi - North Campus
JOB SUMMARY:
This position has the purpose to provide strategic leadership to the Group of Ziauddin Hospitals (all campuses) in the Human Resources and Organizational Development department to processes and promote its vision, mission, and goals to ensure effective, harmonious and interdependent themes, functions and programs within Group. The person extends to external interactions with key stakeholders, partners, and consultants. This position ensures sustained Organizational
Effectiveness by developing and implementing structures and systems in response to changing organizational contexts, strategies, and priorities which maintain the smooth functions in HR & OD activities. The group head will also be responsible to manage and direct the respective department at other campuses.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
. Manage and strengthen departmental structure & personnel through cost-effective analysis aimed towards establishing an efficient and productive workforce on the Group level.
. Develop and implement human resource plans that are aligned to the Group strategy, plans & priorities.
. Establish a comprehensive recruitment program by counseling managers to facilitate recruitment, selection, induction and orientation processes on the Group level.
. Develop and implement performance management systems in all campuses that all staff can use in facilitating feedback.
. Monitor and supervise personnel documentation verification with respect to education, certification, previous employer liabilities/NOC/experience certificate, references and addresses campus wise.
. Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys and recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions as per needs.
. Check and monitor Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), records and reports including availability and accuracy of information thereof at Group level.
. Finds opportunities to solve HR challenges through broad and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, organizational behavior, change management, best practices and organization policy at Group level.
. To promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops (if needed); reviewing professional publications (if needed); establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies (if needed).
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES:
* Excellent interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all levels
* Strong IT skills required to manage/operate computerized payroll and benefits systems.
* Ability to compile and interpret statically data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner.
* Active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
REQUIREMENTS:
Academic Qualifications: Masters (MBA, MPA, MS)
Professional Qualification: CHRP/SHRM or relevant certifications.
Working Experience: 11 to 15 years.
