NayaPay is Hiring: DevOps - Trainee
Karachi (Onsite)

They're looking for a motivated trainee to join our infrastructure and operations team in Karachi. You'll gain hands-on experience in infrastructure management, deployment processes, and cloud operations while working alongside experienced DevOps engineers who will mentor you throughout your learning journey.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Assist in monitoring infrastructure and application alerts; support incident resolution under senior guidance and participate in root cause analysis discussions
Learn and support deployment processes, updates, and changes; assist in documentation and knowledge transfer from experienced team members
Perform basic VM patching, system updates, and assist senior engineers with vulnerability management and security compliance checks
Coordinate with PMO and SOD teams on deployment schedules; shadow experienced engineers on live deployment activities
Support infrastructure and application project delivery by assisting with testing, documentation, and implementation
Learn backup procedures, assist with basic capacity planning, and monitor infrastructure performance under supervision
Document SOPs, deployment guides, and runbooks; actively seek feedback and focus on continuous improvement

WHAT YOU NEED
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or currently pursuing final year)
0–2 years of experience in IT operations, system administration, or infrastructure support (fresh graduates welcome)
Basic understanding of server and virtualization concepts
Familiarity with Linux/Windows server environments; willingness to learn cloud and hybrid infrastructure
Basic knowledge of monitoring tools, CI/CD concepts, and introduction to automation/scripting
Understanding of security best practices, patch management, and compliance fundamentals
Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate effectively with senior team members
Excellent communication and documentation skills
