We Are Hiring - Assistant Manager Quality Assurance
Location: Islamabad
Job Responsibilities:
. To ensure compliance to Quality Control requirements from incoming material to end product till consumed by customer.
. To ensure smooth operation of water treatment as per requirement compliant to PepsiCola International and local regulations.
. To ensure maintenance of water treatment process as per defined guidelines and requirements on time to avoid any break downs.
. To maintain consumables inventory of water treatment to avoid breakdowns.
. To monitor, follow-up and improve WUR through coordination with other departments and follow-up on water saving projects.
. To ensure all incoming material is compliant to PepsiCola International and legal requirements and from approved sources.
. To manage trials, study and other requirement for value engineering projects and all type of PepsiCola International trials. Ensure updating of quality monitoring process accordingly.
. To monitor storage conditions and practices of all raw materials as per defined standards and highlight the deviations / defects.
. To ensure finished syrup batching as per MMI's according to PepsiCola International specification and legal requirements.
. Daily visit of syrup room and cross checking of 1 batch to verify quality compliance.
. Daily visit of all labs and inspection points to cross check and review the monitoring results.
. To do daily sensory evaluation of last day production and actions accordingly.
. To ensure production startups and post maintenance inspection done by chemist accurately with corrective actions accordingly.
. To conduct surprise audit of whole syrup process (simple syrup, final syrup) by critically analysis from storage tanks (sampling from top and sampling taps)
. Maintain all labs, equipment's and sample retention room all the time.
. Ensure calibration and maintenance of lab equipment's timely to ensure accuracy of results.
. Handle all nonconformities pro-actively, communicate timely, stop production if needed, take corrective and preventive actions.
. Training and capability development of all Quality Assurance staff.
. Ensure availability of updated standards / references and updating instructions / monitoring sheets accordingly.
. In absence of Head of Quality, supervise whole QA department (QC/QA/FS/Compliance)
. To do any job assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements:
. BSc (Chemistry), BS Food technology / Chemical Engineering or having required skills through experience and training.
. 3-5 Years of Experience in Dairy, Juice, Water or Beverage Sector
. Lead Auditor or Experience of FSSC certification.
