Position: Enabler Sourcing, Ready-To-Wear, Weaves Corporation, Karachi

We are looking for a qualified individual for the role of Enabler Sourcing – Ready To Wear to join our Sourcing Team. This role is responsible for the high-quality and timely processing and production of fabrics for our RTW category.

Responsibilities

• Fabric Sample Creation
• Manage sample development and obtain approvals from Product Design teams.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and organise reprocessing of samples where required.
• Analyse quality test results of improved samples and validate accuracy.

Fabric Processing

• Recommend fabric allocation based on production unit capabilities.
• Negotiate costing for processed fabrics, including dyeing, printing and production.
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of sourcing issues related to quality and timelines.
• Ensure timely delivery of fabric to stitching units and completion of processing within negotiated cost and timelines.

Vendor Development & Management

• Identify and evaluate vendors for fabric processing based on techniques, capacity, cost efficiency and production quality.
• Onboard new vendors and conduct pilot tests to assess their capabilities.
• Identify improvement areas in existing vendors and recommend measures to enhance production processes.

Experience & Education

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in sourcing, fabric construction, and fabric processing.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Textile Engineering, from a reputable university.
