Open Position: Monitoring Officer

we are seeking a vigilant and detail oriented Media Monitoring Officer to join our fast paced News Department.

Responsibilities:
1. Track, analyze and report on breaking news developments and media trends across digital and broadcast platforms.
2. Collaborate with editorial teams to synthesize complex updates into clear, actionable media briefs.
3. Track competitors to identify exclusive stories, coverage gaps, and shifting media trends.

Qualification:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies or a related fields.
2. Experience of 1-3 years in a newsroom, media house, or a PR agency (fresh graduates with strong news sense are encouraged to apply)
3. Excellent command of English and Urdu (both written and verbal)
4. Ability to work flexible, rotational shifts, including early mornings, nights, and weekends to match the 24/7 news cycle.
