Achievements

New Islamabad Airport
Worked as face of PIA for commissioning of IT services at new Islamabad Airport. It includes: Complete coordination with CA Pakistan and internal departments of PIA. Prepare complete budget for IT deployments. We have deployed redundant link with Karachi and RWP Regional HQ to NIIAP, along with integration of to the connectivity at PIA networks. The links and all airport services of PIA are commissioned and tested successfully.

DR Site
Successfully Deployed DR site in NTC data center. All major servers along with PIA network replicas has been installed and tested successfully. Total 15 servers has been deployed with active –active formation to improve the operations.

MPLS (Layer-3) Connectivity
Introduced and Implemented MPLS – L3 connectivity in PIAC infrastructure, by aggregating Quetta Airport, Peshawar Airport, Rawalpindi booking office, Sialkot Airport at PIA data center, Karachi as phase-1 of the project. It includes vendor and internal coordination for meeting defined timelines provided by the management. It’s a pure Mesh connectivity and other sites are also in pipeline for network enhancement.

Analytical Reports
Prepared complete summarized reports on Sabre and SITA services acquired by PIAC since 1999. These reports were submitted to Chief Information Officer, PIAC for understanding and clarification of faced issues within PIA operations based on signed contracts and relevant documentations. The report includes all technical and financial details of these services.

Cloud Based PIA Call Center
Initiated and finalized Cloud Based Call Center for PIA. I worked as technical specialist for initiation and finalization of the product and vendor. Designed and Finalized the RFP and performed technical evaluations of the participants as per requirements. We saved the cost up to USD 30,000 / month. (USD 0.36 Million / year)

Enterprise Solution Department
I was the first induction in CMPAK to build Enterprise Solution department and help in induction of complete team for Enterprise Solution and services across 3 major regions of CMPAK (Islamabad – North, Lahore – Central, and Karachi – South). IN 2015-16 with 12 personals for solution selling. In 2015, we closed the business of more than 300 Million PKR for CMPAK.

Higher Education Commission
Initiated and won the HEC 100K dongles project in continuation of Prime Minister Laptop Scheme. The worth of said project was 209 Million PKR. The project delivery was completed within 6 months. Currently, 92,000 devices are up and contributing in monthly revenue.

National Highway Authority
Deployed APN based nationwide solution on 4G connectivity. The solution was designed to fulfill the needs of their centralized Attendance software and financial application for toll collection. 20 sites were connected across Pakistan as phase 1 and in 2016 the count of sites increased by 150.

I was a Project Lead to connect 513 sites of DC and RO Offices of ECP across Pakistan. The duration of this project was 3 months. Internet services were commissioned on these sites using DSL, OFC, VSAT and MPLS based services. It includes coordination among multiple vendors and higher and middle level officials of ECP Pakistan (DGs, Directors, DCO’s,), Ministry of IT (Secretary IT, Members and DGs), Country head and Project heads of UNDP as donor and facilitator of the project.

Launched “Taleemi Cloud services” for AIOU users across Pakistan, including 1.3 Million students, 70K Teachers. It includes, EVO 3.1 Mbps as Internet Connectivity medium with customized Cloud based services. I started my career at Nayatel as Senior Support Engineer in their Technical Assistance center (TAC) and after 4 months evaluation; they promoted me as Network Support Engineer in Transmission Department.
